The Cramps just died, which is a tragedy

JI know nothing about the Misfits other than Marky, lol. It would make sense he's the drummer... he's a drummer after all lol hehe.

Marky played in a hard rock band called Dust, before quitting them and joining Richard Hell & The Voidoids, and then he later joined the Ramones, and I assume Misfits was the next incarnation.

Neither am I. In fact, I'm not at all, though I have my preferences. I will listen to anything from hardcore psychobilly to gypsy traditional folk, from electro New Wave to jazz.

If you like good vocals, and can take psychotic weirdness in their brilliance, you'd likely dig the Cramps. Lux Interior was one of the BEST vocalists and frontmen EVER, though he wasn't a brilliant writer. He was astonishing.

Not into metal or rap myself, but if you like the Misfits do you know the Cramps? They invented horror punk.
