If it's a light crankbait try use a spinning rod instead. Baitcasters generally arent as good as spinning reels when it comes to light lines and light lures. My rule is if I'm using less than 10lb line go for the spinning rod. If more than 10lb line go for the baitcaster. Also lures less than 1/4 ounce go with the spinning reel. If more than 1/4 ounce go for the baitcaster. This may not be the same for everyone but, it works for me. Thanks for watching the show.

If you can help me , I got this new crankbait and its my very first one. When I cast it , it doesnt go that far and i adjusted my baitcaster to it and everything. Is there a way to fix that problem and make it go far?
