No effects challenge
EDIT: I hopefully made it to the next round!

For this challenge I decided to use one of my all time favorite songs. In the end by Linkin Park. Good choice? Bad choice? We'll soon know.

In this challenge we were only allowed to use:
-fades in and out from black
-minor zooms
-reverse
-white flashes
-minor slowing and speeding up of clips
-audio bites from said movie
-interlacing of clips

My video includes fade ins and fade outs from black, some minor zooms(most of them were from the original footage), some minor slowing down and speeding up of clips, audio bites and lots of interlacing of clips.
Any flashes you saw were from the original footage.

I have a theory: When two people hate or antagonize each other there's some intensity going between them and they have strong feelings for each other. Feelings of hate that can be as strong as the feeling of love. It's just the other way around.

From 00:12 until 1:08 I tried showing the relationship between L and Light.
From 1:09 until 2:24 I tried to show the relationship and rivarly between Mello and Near.
The rest is a combination of the above that sums up the stories.

I really like the outcome and I hope you too. I also hope that this video will meet the judges expectations.

This video means a lot to me. I got heartbroken while making the part from 2:05 till 2:14.
