Jade
Goody's family have accepted an apology from OK! Magazine after it
released its latest issue with a black-bordered front cover featuring
the star saying "in loving memory" and "1981-2009" - despite the fact
she's still alive.
Inside the issue, there are a host of tributes to the star too - all in
the past tense as if she had already died from her battle with cancer.
The mag calling itself 'The Jade Goody Tribute Issue' also claims to
have the star's "final words".
Talking exclusively to Mirror.co.uk, Jade's PR Max Clifford said that
the issue had left the star's family upset.
He said: "It wasn't right. It reads like an obituary. They went too far
and they got it wrong. But there's now been an apology from the editor
to those close to Jade.
However, he added: "They (OK!) did it with the best intentions. And you
have to take into account that over the previous few weeks they've
covered Jade's wedding and the christening and she's loved it. But this
didn't work and now they've apologised to the family."

Meanwhile, Max said that Jade's condition today remained unchanged and
that she was so heavily sedated, she was mostly sleeping as husband
Jack Tweed kept a vigil over her.
He told Mirror.co.uk: "She (Jade) knows that Jack is there with her
holding her hand and cleaning her teeth and doing all that he can for
her."
Max also added that although Jade hadn't been awake to see the live
television coverage of the petition she instigated to lower the age of
cervical screening, she hoped to see it another day.
The petition was delivered to Number 10 Downing Street by Look magazine
editor Ali Hall who has helped co-ordinate the campaign with Jade along
with Robert Music from cervical cancer awareness charity Jo's Trust.
Max said: "It's finally got the message across. Jade will be thrilled
with it and had she been well enough, she'd have been there. But she
was there in spirit."
Max continued: "Hopefully she'll be able to see it at some stage. She's
been at the forefront of the issue after all and if the age limit is
changed, there's one person responsible and that's Jade Goody.
"We know that she's already saved lots of young lives (from dying of
cervical cancer) anyway because we've had the letters from the people
involved."
