If you think you have failed someone and want forgiveness I think you should ask the one you faild for that forgiveness. It´s he or she that you have failed that are the one that need to hear your regret - not your god. I believe that to be true whether there is a god or not.

Depends on which video...I don't like blocking comments but there are just some that people throw insults and verbal violence starts breaking out. To me that isn't a debate! Because the mind puffs up and no matter what you say, it won't get through to the person even if they disagree. But if you any questions, you can...that, I won't block....take care.
