- Forming partnerships with other heritage organizations
To Assist Local Governments By:
- Preserving archaeological resources
- Providing professional archaeological assistance
- Advising local governments on the management of sites
To Assist the Division of Historical Resources By:
- Distributing literature
- Promoting Division Programs (including grants)
- Providing venues for regional training opportunities
- Referring local inquiries to the appropriate staff member
- Identifying local archaeological sites for the National Register
