Warren Faidley was the world's first, full-time professional storm chaser and extreme weather journalist. He was recently billed as "America's Top Storm Chaser" by MSNBC. Please see my website for contact information. I do not check or reply to messages here.
Unlike most chasers, Warren works full-time, year round.
He is one of the few individuals on earth who has experienced both an F5 tornado and a Category 5 hurricane (Andrew -1992).
Warren, an accredited journalist since the late 1980's, has supplied images for a wide variety of media sources, including Life Magazine, National Geographic, USA Today, The Weather Channel, NASCAR and Universal Pictures. He was an initial consultant for the motion picture "Twister." Warren often serves as a severe weather expert for news sources like CNN and Fox News.
Warren is currently specializing in the coverage of Global Warming and it's impact through his images and footage. During his many years of hand-on chasing, Warren says he has personally witnessed "major and distrubing changes" in the weather patterns he follows.
In 1995 he authored the best-selling book "Storm Chaser." His most recent book, The Ultimate Storm Survival Handbook" is required reading for storm chasers and storm spotters.
