ENOUGH NEEDS YOUR HELP. A deadly war is raging in eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo, and our insatiable demand for electronics products such as cell phones and laptops is helping drive that conflict.

Eastern Congo is the most dangerous place in the world to be a woman or girl, and the sexual violence there is often fueled by militias warring over conflict minerals, the ores that produce tin, tungsten, and tantalum—the 3 Ts— that end up being used in our electronic devices.

Design the best video that raises awareness about the link between our cell phones and the violence in Congo, and we will fly you to LA (from within the U.S.) where your winning video will be screened at a red carpet event to mark the occasion. The winning video will also be featured on the Enough Project's websites and YouTube's contest page.

Our very cool judges: Oscar-nominated actor Ryan Gosling, actress Sonya Walger from ABC's "Lost," and Oscar-nominated director Wim Wenders.

Our cell phones don't have to fuel the deadliest war in the world. Use your cell phone to call on electronics companies to COME CLEAN 4 CONGO.

Don't we deserve to know whats in our phones? Entrants have till July 1 to submit their videos.

The contest is being sponsored by Enough, a project of the Center for American Progress to end genocide and crimes against humanity. Enough focuses on crises in Sudan, Chad, eastern Congo, northern Uganda, Somalia, and Zimbabwe. Raise Hope for Congo is an Enough campaign to protect and empower Congolese women and girls.

Our Judges:

Oscar-nominated director Wim Wenders is most notably known for his acclaimed films "Wings of Desire" and "Paris, Texas." Recently, Wenders directed a captivating vignette on the conflict in eastern Congo in the film, Invisibles. Produced by Javier Bardem, Invisibles shines a light on the worlds five most under reported crises. Wenders is looking forward to picking an imaginative video that raises awareness about our cell phones and their connection to the conflict.

Ryan Gosling has been a leading activist for the Enough Project. Oscar nominated actor Gosling has written op-eds, produced videos, participated in public forums, and advocated for peace in northern Uganda to Members of Congress and UN officials. Gosling has taken great interest in the conflict minerals issue, and is looking forward to checking out your creative videos that address the link between conflict minerals from Congo and our cell phones.

British actress Sonya Walger, from the hit ABC television series Lost, recently decided to learn more about the conflict and raise her voice to help end sexual violence in eastern Congo. She is joining us to the host the Come Clean 4 Congo video contest and is looking forward to watching your creative entries.
