I know I promised a few videos, like the third part of my LotR video trilogy but right now I don't see that happening.. It's just that videos take so much time and effort nowdays and I only end up doing those that I really want to edit. So, sorry for inconvenience ^_^' Also, I don't take requests for that reason either, but I don't mind suggestions ;)

I'm not particularly good at profile descriptions.. My introverted mind doesn't like them.. I'm a guy. I'm 19. I'm a philosophy geek and ever fascinated by psychodynamic and Jungian psychology. My imagination is killing me -_-

ABOUT VIDDING AND AMVS
======================
I've edited quite a bunch of them by now. These days, I have a hundred lovely ideas in my head but only end up editing a few. So, let's say my inspiration isn't dead ;)

I like my videos multilayered and complicated, not to forget about an emotional effect =) Inspired by exploring music and most often melancholy, that's what I usually aim at in my videos. I've received a bunch of pms asking for editing tips. There's no one way to do it. That's important to know. But if I was to give advice, I'd emphasize appreciating your sources and push their limits and see how they bend =) As an editor, I think of myself as a remix artist. No more than that.

Technical advice is easier to give though. I use Sony Vegas 7 for editing my videos. Most of my videos, however, are edited with Windows Movie Maker. But your editing program is not what makes you a good or a bad editor =) For any other technical stuff (ripping, compressing, cleaning etc.) I use AviSynth, VirtualDubMod, DGIndex, DVD Decrypter, BeSweet GUI and Zarx264gui. All of those you can get free by just simply downloading AMVapp.

It's very important to read those guides through. Otherwise you'll be missing very important stuff. Note that those guides do not tell stylistic advice or how you should edit. They're just simply for getting your footage, preparing it for editing, cleaning it up and finally compressing. There are other interesting stuff as well ;)

Not as much of an addict than musics but I do love movies too <3 I'm a fan of Asian horror and melancholic and complicated art-movies xD Human psyche is just fascinating to explore~ My favourites include A Tale of Two Sisters, Blue, Mulholland Drive, The Libertine and the list goes on and on.

ANIME & MANGA
=============
Yeah, a fan of these as well. I prefer the alternatives though. Mainstream anime doesn't really appeal to me.. I really like Elfen Lied, Serial Experiments Lain, Air and Makoto Shinkai's works.
