About Me:
I am a hearing-impaired lesbian who is constantly searching for a purpose to my life. I am a wannabe writer, poet, comic and (as of January 23rd 2008) a student at AACC majoring in paralegal studies (general practice). I am constantly evolving and I'm certain that one day I'll be the person I'm supposed to be. I am a WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) kind of person which often pisses people off as I tend to speak from the heart and I'm not afraid to just tell it like it is.
I don't play mind games and I HATE people who try to play mind games with me. I'm fiercely loyal but betray me and you better watch out! I'm known to have a VERY hot temper...
My sense of humor tends to be off the wall which often gets me into trouble with some of my friends. I am a proud member of the ANT colony and I try very hard to live by ANT's principles of no judgments and no negativity... Of course I am human so I'm naturally having a hard time with this, but I think the fact that I at least try to live by ANT's principles makes him happy.
I will not deny that I am an intellectual snob in that I don't like people who only think of sex nor do I like people who consume their time with drugs and alcohol, but I am trying my best to be open minded towards all people for as a wise friend told me "ignorance can be fixed, but stupidity is forever." It is my hope that I become less ignorant of the world around me and more accepting towards those whose ideas differ from my own. I try to accept all people just as long as they try to accept me in return. You don't have to agree with my opinions but we should be respectful of each other nevertheless.

Movies:
Movies: I like movies that have good graphics in them that truly allow me to escape the craziness of today's world. However, that doesn't mean you won't catch me watching De-Lovely;Rent; Superman Returns or Freddy vs. Jason. Horror movies scare the hell out of me so I tend to like to watch those with a good group of friends. I HATE teeny-bopper movies or movies like Jackass since (although I hate admitting it) I am an intellectual snob. Besides, if I want to see people acting stupidly I'll watch some coverage of the white house. My favorite movies so far are V for Vendetta; all of the X-Men movies; Rent; De-Lovely; Chicago; The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, all the Harry Potter movies; Tank Girl; Bound and so on...
Television: I watch whatever holds my interest. I tend to concentrate on channels like A&E, VH1, TNT, or Logo. However, since I tend to play my playstation or read books more than watch TV it's hard to say what shows I actually like...
I have recently become addicted to NCIS and Sordid Lives but these seem to be the only shows I watch faithfully.
Music:
I've just fallen in love with Blair Hansen so she's number one on my list now. However, in truth I love all kinds of music, but I tend to float around the electro-pop categories. This does not mean though that you won't find me singing show tunes (badly) or relaxing to some classical music. Yes, I love listening to classic lesbian singers like k.d. lang and so on but great music should not have to be defined by one's sexuality. Depending on my mood I may listen to 70's or 80's music. I adore Annie Lennox and I just gotten into a bunch of new singers I've found on myspace. I don't care for country nor do I care for rap, but I am trying to be more open minded since there are a lot of people out there who do like these kinds of music. To be brutally honest I'm quite behind the times when it comes to the music scene. I tend to look to New Now Next on Logo to fill me in on who's hot and who's not in the music world. I still love 80's music and you will often find me singing to old Nine Inch Nails songs. I haven't gotten into the new Nine Inch Nails yet, but I still think they kick ass nevertheless. I also like KMFDM but I'm still behind in that I haven't bought any of their new stuff yet...
Books:
If I told you all the books I've read you'll fall asleep! Let me just say that if you put me in a bookstore that has really good books chances are I'll run a HUGE debt on my credit card (can you say Geek?). Last Books I Read: 1.)
