(watch in HD) PTBTV aka Pushin' The Bay TV exclusive look behind the scenes at 106.1 KMEL with Bay Area's very own, DJ MIND MOTION and Emcee T. Part 2 of 2.
DJ Mind Motion. He like Rick Lee has a huge street reputation. He's part of a famous crew of hip hop djs called The Pirate DJs. Without a doubt Mind Motion is one of the Bay Area's best... when it comes to a party he definitely puts it down. He puts out mix tapes which sell out on the regular. He's also one of the buyers at Zebra Records in San Francisco. The clubs that Mind Motion spins at are too numerous to name. But he's best known for the parties that he and his crew The Pirate DJs habitually throw. They include Cream Of Beat and Temple Of Boom. Mind Motion's favorite quote: 'GO GET MY SHINE BOX'.
KMEL (106.1 FM) is an Urban Contemporary-formatted radio station located in San Francisco, California, and owned by Clear Channel Communications.
KMEL broadcasts at an effective radiated power of 69,000 watts from the San Bruno Mountain area south of San Francisco. The station's powerful signal can easily be heard all over the Bay Area and covers areas as far north as Santa Rosa, as far east as Concord and the Livermore Valley, and as far south as the Santa Cruz Mountains and, reputedly, the Salinas Valley. There is some difficulty reaching the signal from the city of Fairfield and areas North of Concord due to the topography of those areas. It is currently one of the highest rated stations in the Bay Area, with the largest listening audience males 18-to-34 demographic.

Exclusive SHAUN TAI Films (in HD, High Definition) coverage of the Golden State Warriors 2009 Draft Party that took place Thursday, June 25, 2009 at the Gordon Biersch Brewery on 2 Harrison Street in the heart of the City, San Francisco, California.
The FREE event featured a special Q&A with Stephen Curry, the Warriors 2009 draft pick, the beautiful Warriors Girls, raffle prizes and much more!
The Warriors selected Curry with the No. 7 pick in the NBA draft Thursday, adding a pure shooter to the mix for a youthful franchise committed to returning to the playoffs in the powerful Western Conference.
"He's a guy who's going to fit in quite nicely with the style of play here," said new Golden State general manager Larry Riley, who was pleasantly surprised Curry hadn't already been chosen. "I was concerned at one time that we might not be able to get him. I thought he might go ahead of us but as the draft turned out, it came to our favor."
About GB: "Fresh, hand crafted beer and premium, made from scratch food... all served up in a friendly and fun atmosphere - that's what the Gordon Biersch experience is all about."
It all started with the dream of two passionate guys named Dan Gordon and Dean Biersch. This dream of exceptional beer and delicious food became a reality on July 6, 1988 when the first Gordon Biersch opened in Palo Alto, California. Acquired by Big River Brewing Company in 1999, Gordon Biersch now has 27 locations in 16 states and Washington D.C. The Gordon Biersch heritage of superior beer, great food and good times are now served up fresh daily in locations stretching coast to coast and across the Pacific to Honolulu.

more
(watch in HD) Soulja Boy performed in San Jose ("KISS ME" Concert) on May 14th, 2009. Soulja Boy Tell 'Em was born in Chicago and moved to Atlanta at age six, where he became interested in rap music. At age 14, he moved to Batesville, Mississippi with his father, who provided a recording studio for Way to explore his musical ambitions. This event was filmed by Shaun Tai for SHAUN TAI Films / ZTY MEDIA.
Critics and hip-hop figures such as Snoop Dogg and Method Man cite Soulja Boy as artistically typical of contemporary rap trends such as writing for the lucrative ringtone market, and the ascendence of "Southern hip hop", emphasizing catchy music that discards rap's traditional emphasis on message. Soulja Boy identifies his goal as making upbeat, party-themed music that avoids the negative, violent image that he sees in most hip-hop. Despite this, his music has been banned from some school dances for sexual, violent content or innuendo.
Before he reached the age of 18, Soulja Boy Tell Em (born DeAndre Way; originally Soulja Boy) was already an ambitious artist and a seasoned businessman, wielding all the hitmaking requirements: producer, live entertainer, and an ability to write catchy hooks. Born in 1990 in Chicago, IL, Way moved from the Windy City down to Atlanta when he was six years old, but then went to live with his father in Batesville, MS, at age 14. In Mississippi, the young entertainer found all the various connections to seriously pursue a musical career, including the aid of his father, who provided a recording studio. After the success of spreading his music through the Internet in 2004 and establishing his Stacks on Deck Entertainment label, he moved back to Atlanta to pursue industry leads and to get his feet wet doing live performances. Shortly thereafter, he was discovered by Atlanta producer Mr. Collipark (Ying Yang Twins, Bubba Sparxxx, Young Jeezy), who helped launch Soulja Boy Tell Em from a local sensation to a national mover and shaker -- and it was all largely due to the Internet. His MySpace page broke the site's records and generated millions of views. Affiliated with Interscope via Collipark's Collipark Music imprint, Soulja Boy Tell Em gradually rose to number one on the pop charts with his snap-dance hit single "Crank Dat (Soulja Boy)" in 2007. By the end of the year the track landed on his debut album, Souljaboytellem.com.
ARTIST: Soulja Boy (Soulja Boy Tell 'em)
