I have been a lifelong resident of the 1st district and graduated from the Grosse Pointe School system. My baccalaureate degrees are in economics and marketing from Saint Joseph's College in Indiana. Currently, I work at Deco Plas Inc. as the assistant process engineer.

I am a member of the Eastside Republican Club and Kiwanis International, Lac Saint Clair chapter. I have also done work for Covenant House and worked in school retreats.

My parents are John and Millicent Simon. My father is a practicing attorney and entrepreneur while my mother is an R.N. at Beaumont Grosse Pointe Hospital. I have an older sister and younger brother. My sister Natalie works at General Motors R* Works and my brother Paul attends Barry University.
