Have you found a similar way to create "pickers" like this for non-percussion, like for example Vengeance's Ultimate Bass library?As tedious as it is going through drum samples looking for the right one, it's 1000 times worse for bass and synth samples.

i think this is the family form from Yang Zhen Ji & Yang Pei Xiu Rong's lineage. I've done that variation a few times and I think this might be it. My Shi Fu is from the lineage of both Yang Shou Zhong and Yang Zhen Ji/Yang Pei Xiu Rong and teaches both. Nothin' like the family stuff for my money!
