A "TWIXED RMX" OF ONE OF THE FIRST VISUALLOOPs ever created by EL GEKO in 1986!!! on Amiga1000 using Dpaint and VD-amiga digitizer.The first visual sets were performed with the "Elan Performer" tool. With E.P. you could put several animationloops on keys of the keyboard and play them live like a synth. It was a RAMplayer with a great iff-compression with deltamode on request so the animationfiles with 8 or 16 indicated colors were very very small but lossless. This Clip is a part of history of visual. The theme was my shoe taken with the camera and processed in dpaint + pixmate. The "wrong-color" palette were the logocolors from Humanic an austrian shoe-company.I was always inspired by Warhol, Dali, Vasareli and others. So this visual is 20 years old and it´s Gekos shoes abstracted. The "VISUAL GRANDPA" of the godfathers of Visuals is definetely EL GEKO and he´s hungry to see the 2nd generation of VJ´s pushing the toplevel further than he did within his 20 years of making visuals and making visuals and making visuals and making visuals. El Geko did some thousands of minutes of aesome visuals allready in the last millenium..... creativity is nothing you can buy and a good reason to go further. Visions are here to be brought to live !
El Geko switched 2004 to analog banana art, carving bananas in the nature and make any tree morphing into a bananatree. the result is a small natural temple. El Geko´s focus now is on the creation of modern rituals and natural art. (Beside his continuous love in visual creation.) (less info)
