Lomg thin squall line that forms a bow shape in the direction the line is moving. Strongest winds gust out from the centre of the bow usually. If the winds exceed 58 mph it becomes a "derecho"
Would be interesting if you could juxtapose your arctic time-lapse alongside this one (on the same time base, if possible) and see what they do together.
