In 2000, 2004-7 and again in 2009, Dr Reznik was selected by Connecticut Magazine as one of the "Top Docs" in the state by nurses, physicians from other specialties and his peers. In 2001, he became a member of the Arthroscopy Association of North America. He was also named as one of "America's Top Physicians" from 2004 to 2009 by the Consumer's Research Council of America.

In 2005, he served as the surgeon on a medical relief team to New Orleans. In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina and Hurricane Rita, he treated patients and helped setting up a clinic that cared for hundreds of victims of those two storms. Dr. Reznik is asked to consult on surgical improvements for arthroscopic surgery, has several patents pending. Two of his inventions are now available to help advance arthroscopic surgery and one of his inventions was licensed by Johnson and Johnson. More on the way. He volunteers on a local school board and is the managing partner of the Orthopaedic Group and enjoys caring for recreational, competitive and professional athletes of all ages.
