Welcome to my little treasure which is devoted to the oldies mainly 1970s and 80s Sri Lankan music, movies etc. although you may also see some 1950s and 60s work and the occasional political clip or two.
The songs I upload are exclusively of original recordings broadcast by the Radio Ceylon (Now SLBC) in the olden days which I have recorded on to old spool tapes since I was a child. Moreover, I have an acquired collection of oldies thanks largely to my mother. Since these songs are reproduced mainly from the old mono tapes the recording quality sometimes may not be of high quality.
