A selection of musical gems spanning the rich history of japanese women's wrestling, performed by the wrestlers themselves. Some of the titles are in Japanese, but rest assured, everything in this playlist is performed by some of the great female wrestlers of Japan, and in some cases, pretty damn well! It's the musical side of joshi puroresu, and maybe the next great soundtrack of your life ;-)
Yokohama Arena, April 2 1993 - First of all, this show is so long I decided to cut it into two parts. Also for the sake of impatience I cut out the press conference footage (if you like that stuff, let me know). Just about every wrestling critic that has seen this show has given it 4 or 5 stars. It has also won the Wrestling Observer Newsletter "Best Major Show" award in 1993. It's one of the greatest wrestling events ever staged not named 'Wrestlemania'. If you have seen this already, you know what to expect. If you haven't, just watch...and react accordingly. - Opening Ceremony and match card announcement
- Plum Mariko and Hikari Fukuoka vs. Sakie Hasegawa and Kaoru Ito
- Saemi Numata and Terri Power vs. Shark Tsuchiya and Crusher Maedomari
- KAORU and Ultima Tigrita vs. Mima Shimoda and Tomoko Watanabe
- Etsuko Mita and Suzuka Minami vs. Miki Handa and Rumi Kazama
- WWWA World Martial Arts Championship: Bat Yoshinaga vs. Susan Howard
October 9, 1993 - It is my pleasure to present the ENTIRE CARD of All Japan Women's Wrestlemarinpiad '93. Plenty of good interpromotional action in this show, which is SO LONG, it has to be in two parts. Here is the match list for Part 1 (which is over two hours long!):
1) Etsuko Mita/Tomoko Watanabe/Numacchi vs. Carol Midori/Mizuki Endo/Mikiko Futagami (LLPW team)
2) Captain Fall Match: Mima Shimoda (captain)/Kaoru Ito/The Goddess Chikako Shiratori/Chaparrita ASARI vs. Cuty Suzuki (captain)/Plum Mariko/Hikari Fukuoka/Commando Bolshoi (JWP team)
3) Sakie Hasegawa/Takako Inoue vs. Shinobu Kandori/Yasha Kurenai (LLPW team)
4) Yumiko Hotta/Suzuka Minami vs. Bull Nakano/Reggie Bennett
Inspired by TheSuicidalDragon, I'll put some of my all time favorite moves from joshi puroresu history, or just ones that I think are F'N AWESOME here. Watch them and cringe!

I have a channel on Veoh.com, and it looked like that site is going out of business, but apparently it's still around for now, so grab some of my stuff from there:

My life has yet again taken several turns, but I'm hoping to make up for lost time in the next couple of days. Keep it locked.
