Actually, I just checked the lyrics, and she says Truro, which is on Cape Cod. I do not think there was a synagogue there now or ever. I wonder if the writers of 1776 actually confused it with the famous Touro synagogue in Newport. Interesting.

Yes, several Japanese television stations have used the clip on their shows. The first was back in March or April, and the most recent I know of was on December 26. They seem to really be taken by the whole thing in Japan. I wish they'd bring us over to visit :)
