Handy video thanks, We operate a Charter boat to White Island and have a lot of fun introducing newbies to this sport. Surprising though that with the right technique you get a lot more hookups but some of our best fish including a Blue Marlin have been caught by guys who just cant get it right.

Nice fish and a fine effort, Amberjack look very much like our Kingfish with a great fight. I do hear that kingfish fight harder though. A 30kg Kingfish sometimes can not be stopped with 80lb line on full drag, taking 30 - 50 meters and wrapping it around some object.
