Established in 2009, Destination Gander is the primary marketing agency for the Town of Gander. The mission of Destination Gander is to provide economic development through the promotion of Gander as a premier conference, meeting, and event destination for provincial and regional clients.
Destination Gander coordinates all available hospitality services and resources and provides an efficient point of contact for meeting planners, tour operators, travel agencies, travel media, and transportation companies.
In addition to promotion, Destination Gander is dedicated to providing an advocacy and leadership role in helping to develop the local hospitality industry. Destination Gander is also involved in the development and facilitation of new events for the community.
Destination Gander is a public/private partnership of the various stakeholder groups in the local hospitality industry and is governed by a representative Board of Directors.
