Update: Seems Warner Music Group frowns on people giving their artists free publicity. I did all of the work in the video, I'm not getting a penny off it, but thought maybe one of their artists would enjoy some free publicity by letting it be the soundtrack to the video. After all, there is no way that I am aware of, to pirate a song off YouTube. You can't convert flash to mp3 because of the quality concerns. And flash video is certainly not burnabled to cd or even dvd. Beats me why they are against free publicity. But I'll respect their request. Instead, I'll promote someone who willingly let me use their song.

Part 3 of 3 of my Rose Hill Ramble from 1995. This one features quite alot of the angels and architecture of the tombstones and such. Some are so detailed that it's amazing. I can only imagine what those would have cost in modern day money.

Song is "Thief" by the band Belly whom had Tanya Donelly as the singer. She was also with the bands Throwing Muses, The Breeders as well as being a solo artist. The song comes from the Tank Girl movie soundtrack.

Flash Bathory's only music video. She deserved better than this - we did it on a zero budget - it was her, me and my truck headlights. Flash was so excited after the cops told us to get out of the first location - she kept saying for days "we totally got shut down" like it was the coolest thing in the world.

One of the most fun times I've had shooting anything, mostly because it was with such an amazing person.

Note: I edited her song down to 2 minutes from the original 3. You can find the full version under my "favorites" but this edit was for my own site because I didn't feel like I covered her enough to keep it interesting for 3. My bad, never heard her opinion on this truncated version.

I knew of this band, mainly because of Joan Jett & Lita Ford but never really heard their music ... until today. Thanks to one poster here (Destin65) for suggesting I play to this band. It's pure Chick Rock & since I only had 1 day to get to know these songs & record them, they were not very difficult. However, it was challenging due to the brand new music to me and the many cutoffs. I really like this drummer's style (Sandy West) & wish I could see her perform in person. She played a typical rock beat but she gave every song an edge that made her beats unique ... and I love that!

So, I hope you enjoy these songs because this was the first time I ever completed a video from scratch in one day. Whew! Enjoy ...
