DIVER. A diving book and film with a difference!

This is a short snippet of the DIVER DVD.
I read a bit from my book, and there is a long section where I take my camera into saturation and even into the bell with me.

When I left the Navy I went on to become a Saturation Diver in the oil fields of the North Sea and around the world diving at depths to well over 700 feet for a month at a time.

My Name is Tony Groom.

I have been paid to dive since I was 17, (I am now 49, just!) An enviable position to many I'm sure. I have never had a 9 to 5. I have been diving all over the world, well almost! From the South Pacific, to the war torn Falkland Islands during the conflict in 1982. Searching for mines down there or quickly evolving our EOD (Explosive Ordinance Disposal) skills, repairing bomb damaged ships during air raids, all set me up for a career that never had a dull moment.

When I left the Navy I went on to become a Saturation Diver in the oil fields of the North Sea and around the world diving at depths to well over 700 feet for a month at a time.

I have now writen a book about my exploits and it is rapidly becoming a best seller in the UK.
