United Way of the Greater Dayton Area is a non-profit organization that works to make a lasting change in the lives of people in Montgomery, Greene and Preble Counties. Its growing network of 77 health and human service agencies tackle a variety of problems, from hunger and domestic violence to unemployment and homelessness. Our local United Way focuses on the underlying causes of these and other problems to ultimately prevent them from happening in the first place. Whether someone has lost a job, lost a home, lost a loved one or simply lost hope, our local United Way is here to remove life's barriers and put people back on the road to success.
