Hi David, thanks for your reply. I've just come back from the opera! The Premiere and the Matinee!! Met Rufus twice and got his autograph and pic! Needless to say I'm on cloud 9. Really enjoyed the opera, lush, life-affiming and feminist and lovely touches of humour where the genre gets sent up quite a bit. Music is great and Janice Kelly sings that aria beautifully. You're boyfriend will really enjoy it you should try and make it at some point.

I really like USA, however.
Even though I don't really know why. Maybe because I live in a very peaceful city, friendly neighborhood, everyone helps each other out.

I dropped my wallet one day and went on an elevator. When the door opened this man handed me my wallet that he picked up 2 floors down and ran up the stairs just to return it to me and I was very impressed.

So I will just ignore those ridiculous people because I guess they are not really important enough.

I have a life to live and a whole world to learn.

I am very impressed by you and many others that tell me good Americans are still alive and will live really long.

So I'll assume that there is only a small group of ignorant Americans and Europeans. The rest is cool.
We have so many ignorant people in Thailand too, but still a small group.

I guess most foreigners who visited Thailand would think the same way as you do. My brother sold his condo in Thailand to an American couple.

I was in Thailand in January and I saw so many foreigners (Americans, Europeans, Japanese, Korean). I was a little confused and afraid that they might conquer my country one day 0___o (just kidding/ hope not). But I am very happy that everyone can live together happily no matter where they are.
Maybe becaues in Thailand everyone is "us".

God, why are you everything I want to be???? ^_^
(is this just coincidence that ppl with similar interests have similar thoughts?)

I, excuse me I mean we, thank you very much for your video. We really appreciate it.
I have been in the USA for 10 years. I think every country has its own problems but believe that each country is also working its way to solve them ;)

Maybe there are so many people in the USA so there are big diversities. I don't blame anyone. There are Americans who knows nothing about Thailand, but I still appreciate them for not acting like they know so much. I have many types of friends in college(but I don't really know why I get along with the elders better). They are pretty open minded to know the truth not just assume how the nation is by what people say.

Thanks David for what you have done. I am really touched.

It's hard to explain why Thai people love their king so much and are ready to do anything for him. We are so sensitive when we heard of cruel comments and accusations based on no evidence.

We live in a peaceful country and really wonder why we have to face so many attacks right now since we did no harm to others.

You and Wit are the first two westerners who made me smile after a horrible week surfing on YouTube.

After being depressed and tied of answering to those heartless comments, I found in a Thai webboard a proposition that invite all Thais to respond positively by posting videos showing our King's love and devotion for his people. This is why you are seeing numbers of clips about the King right now.

Thanks so much and welcome to Thailand.
