I requested a battle with Tsuroerusu on the Pokecommunity forums, and we had this battle.
A very nice match overall, I got to use a new Pokemon, and he performed fairly well.
Relicanth showed off how good he is as well.

I have no idea why I didn't get the Flash Fire boost from that Fire Blast. Granted, I had to thaw, but does being frozen negate the ability or something?

A rematch with Oni Spumoni, this time in a UU battle. We had a battle before this, but I used Honchkrow without knowing he's BL. So we had a rematch, with slightly different teams. This is the second time I've ever had a UU battle (The first being the battle with him before this) so that's why my team is slightly random.
Epic fail with Relicanth there. Now that I think about it, I should have used Waterfall or something, but whatever. Excellent match, Oni. I do like the UU tier, and I hope to battle you again sometime in it.

The first Gym Leader of Pokemon Blue/Red; Brock.
Brock uses Rock-types, obviously. He has a Geodude at Level 12 and an Onix at Level 14.
Neither of Brock's Pokemon are powerful offensively, but they have large amounts of defense. Onix is also fairly fast, and can use Screech to carve your defenses up. If you started with a Squirtle or a Bulbasaur, you'll sweep Brock effortlessly. If you've got Charmander, Brock is trickier and may require other Pokemon.

The second Gym Leader of Pokemon Red/Blue; Misty.
Misty has a Staryu at Level 18 and a Starmie at Level 21.
Staryu is fairly powerful, but is nothing compared to that beast of a Pokemon called Starmie. It's fast, powerful, and has good defense. It's Bubblebeam can easily hit 40 damage. Unless you've got a Bulbasaur, expect Starmie to be a very powerful Pokemon, especially since Misty uses X Defends to boost it's defenses. I also believe she has a Super Potion.

The second time you fight your rival in Pokémon Red/Blue.
Your rival's got some seriously tough Pokémon. He's got a Pidegotto at Level 18, an Abra at Level 15, a Rattata at level 15, and his starter at Level 17.
Discounting Abra, which is basically free experience, your rival's Pokémon are very powerful. His Rattata is his second weakest, but still is fast and knows Hyper Fang, which is a killer attack at the beginning of the game. His starter hasn't evolved yet, but it's still fairly powerful. His Pidgeotto is the real beast of his team. It's fast and abuses Sand-Attack so you miss all your attacks. (By the way, I will from here on refer to the rival as Red, because it's more convenient for me)

The first Gym Leader of Pokemon Silver/Gold; Falkner.
Falkner uses Flying-types. He's got a Pidgey at Level 7, and a Pidgeotto at Level 9.
Falkner's Pokemon get their jollies by spamming Mud-Slap, an attack that lowers your accuracy. Switch often to negate some of the accuracy draining. Pidgey is weak, but Pidgeotto can hit fairly hard with Gust, so be careful.

The second Gym Leader of Pokemon Gold/Silver; Bugsy.
Bugsy, as his name implies, uses Bug type Pokemon. He's got a Metapod at Level 14, a Kakuna at Level 14, and a Scyther at Level 16.
Metapod and Kakuna might look innocent, but they can still attack despite being in cocoons. Scyther is very powerful. He's fast and fairly durable as well. It also knows Fury Cutter. This dangerous attack starts off weak but doubles in strength every time it doesn't miss. If you let Scyther get off too many of these, he will OHKO every one of your Pokemon with it. Nail it hard with a Rock-type attack, and you should emerge victorious.

The second time you face the son of Giovanni in Pokemon Gold/Silver.
Gold's very powerful. He's got a Gastly at Level 12, a Zubat at Level 14, and his starter at Level 16.
Gastly is incredibly annoying, because it can put you to sleep with Hypnosis. Luckily it can't really do too much damage. Zubat is weak, but it can confuse you with Supersonic. It also can inflict decent damage with Bite. Gold's starter is incredibly powerful, and you probably don't have any Pokemon that can hit super effective on it. (Although perhaps Bayleef was hard for me because all my Pokemon are weak against Razor Leaf) Train your Pokemon in Slowpoke Well or Union Cave before the battle.

Kandar isn't too hard, but he does take a while to defeat. His Goons are actually pretty strong, so focus on them first. Use Increase a few times so the attacks are easier to handle. When the Goons are gone, dogpile Kandar. He only has a standard physical attack (Which can hit some very nasty Brutal Hits though) so it shouldn't be too difficult after that.

Kandar hasn't really gotten too much harder. He now has a very strong resistance to Ice, so Icebolt is useless against him. He only has two Goons now, but they can cast Defense, which can make it very hard to survive. Just use the same strategy as last time, only with a few more Increases to make up for the Defenses. (By the way, I made so much money playing Pachisi and the Monster Arena. Very fun ways to make money without all the grinding, if you ask me.)

Orochi can be a real pain. He can attack twice per round whenever he wants, and his bite does decent damage. But his most dangerous attack is his flame breath, which does upwards of 30 damage to all party members! If he uses it twice in a turn, it can be really hard to recover from. Use Increase to make his bite do essentially nothing, and use Sap to beat him as soon as possible.
