About Me:
David is a former sound engineer and indie studio manager based in the UK. He is passionate about using Internet technologies to empower musicians, and is a strong advocate of Free Culture and Open Music.
He is the curator of "Open Music Search" - A Google custom search engine indexing hundreds of copyleft music resources. Designed for finding reusable media, collaborative projects and free music tools. The search box can be embedded on web pages and added directly to blogs at Blogger.com by searching for the gadget name from the page layout editor.
His original Soundblog can be found at "Dave's Imaginary Sound Space", a micro-portal for sound related news and information. DISS has twice been listed on Microsoft's Best of Windows Live Spaces website.
David blogs about indie music and new media projects in areas relating to digital audio, content distribution, creative commons, multimedia, music production, podcasting, video, web start-ups, open source and free software tools.
