Sorry it's taken me so long to reply, I thought I had already for some reason. That's not cool about the scam! Not fun at all. I got my camera at www.bhphoto.com. They're definitely legit, I don't know how their pricing compares to other places, but they're good and efficient.
Also, I've pretty much only ever used one camera. It's hard to use two cameras, cause optimally you'd want another person on the camera, and also if you get into lighting scenes, etc, it's hard to light for multiple camers/record sound for multiple at one, so it's just a bit more complicated. So yeah, I only have one camera and only use one camera 95% of the time.
