Napanee Ontario - CN 309 & VIA 61 at Ontario St. ConrailSD... - 48 views - 9 hours ago
It's a hot and humid summer July day in Napanee Ontario as CN 309. A Joffre to Mac Yard freight train with a Dash 9-44CW, an SD75I and a GP38-2, pull 159 cars through an s-curve and rock cut before ducking under the Ontario Street bridge. Heading west to Belleville for a crew change.

As the freight train passes, VIA train #61 from Montreal is seen overtaking CN 309 on the south track. With class unit #900 in charge and five LRC cars in tow. The engineer on train #61 will open up the throttle on the P42DC, after passing the working limits of Maintenance of Way forces working west of the Napanee Station.

Railfanning Over The Years 1992 - 2005 ConrailSD... - 75 views - 3 days ago
This is my first attempt using a movie making program. I decided to create a photo montage of trains that I captured from when I was in high school, to about the time I got my first digital camera with movie/video capabilities.

These photos are from my huge personal collection of trains. Taken from 1992 to 2005. I had a hard time trying to choose which pictures I wanted to share as there were hundreds of them. From those hundreds, I choose these select few. Some are rare. (Like the VIA Rail LRC's) Others are commonly seen. (CP's SD40-2's)

I've covered alot of ground eversince I got my licence. I've racked up over 500,000km on just two vehicles chasing trains!

My late Dad also helped me in driving me to various locations to watch/photograph trains when I was growing up. Trains were my escape from the hardships and depression I suffered in high school.

Locations seen in this video are...........Syracuse NY, Springfield MA, Palmer MA, Cardinal Ont, Smiths Falls Ont, Gananoque Ont. Brockville Ont, Valleyfield PQ, Prescott Ont, Finch Ont, Warners NY, Avonmore Ont. Coteau PQ, Haverhill MA, Mallorytown Ont, Ottawa Ont, North Bay Ont, Kingston Ont, Brighton Ont and Gatineau PQ.

I hope everyone enjoys this little video as it was fun for me in creating it to share with other railfans alike.

Mirage so low... " Vols Blancs ", Extrait II. A 60 min. movie by Lionel Charlet/ 2003/ LionelCha... - 172 views - 1 week ago
Enjoy this short extrait of "VOLS BLANCS", and climb first the Eiger and Moench summits, over Grindelwald...on the Mirage IIIBS backseat. With these all original pictures made by Lionel Charlet on board of Mirage IIIS/BS, or F-5F.

With his friends pilots of the 16th sq....After making the movies "FUSION" and "MIRAGE IIIS, derniers sillages", Lionel was making this new 60 min.movie for the Swiss Air Force and the Swiss Air Force Commander Fernand Carrel, without, as usual it's the problem, any TV pressure. "VOLS BLANCS" has already 5 years of DVD distribution around the world and stay one of the most impressive Lionel Charlet has done, quite alone with the pilots and his camera, during one year, before making the same experience for the Swiss Air Force with his more recent movie "ICE HORNET".
Like all his other movies, "VOLS BLANCS" got many prices
in aviation Film Festivals. Because of its artistic dimension.
Made with the support of the 16/17 squadrons. Copyright and Production:

Mazda vs Maasdam (ship horns!) airraidsiren - 218,137 views - 2 years ago
Here I'm blowing the Cunningham ferry horn on my truck at the Holland America Line "Maasdam" cruise ship. They obligingly return fire with their Zöllner Makrofon horns.

About Me: All my videos are from my SONY Cybershot DSC-W55 digital still camera. The Cybershot gives great video but the only drawback is no zoom available while filming, When I get a new Digital Video Camera, I'll be able to do more videos with zoom.
I also have over 4 years of Hi8 videos of trains that I'm looking to convert. On these treasures from 1992-2006, I caught CP MLW's, VIA's LRC MLW's, CN's MLW's and much more!

здравствуйте! к моим друзьям в России!
hallo zu meinen Freunden in Deutschland!

My favorite railroad will always be Conrail. I enjoyed watching the long Trail Van trains running through Syracuse N.Y. My eyes would lite up when I saw the blue and white SD40's, SD50's SD60's and GE units running along the old NYC Chicago Line.

Other railroads I like are the Erie Lackawanna (those SD45's pulling TOFC! Wish I could have seen that in Indiana, along the Marion-Chicago mainline, now torn up.), Chessie System (MEOW!), Florida East Coast, CSX, Canadian National, Canadian Pacific, CNW, Santa Fe, New England Central, VIA, Amtrak, Chicago Great Western (the 100 car trains led by 10 F units!), Rock Island, Milwaukee Road and Illinois Central.
Country:
Canada
Hobbies:
Airplanes, trains, soccer (Newcastle United, Everton, Manchester City, Massachusetts Twisters), hockey (Buffalo Sabres.....and before that the Winnipeg Jets!) and pool. Boston Billard Club in West Springfield rocks! Shout outs to my friends who work there.
Music:
Trance music all the way! Paul van Dyk from Germany is my favorite DJ. I also like techno, rock, alternative, heavy metal, classical and stuff from the 1950's. Satellite Radio is the way of the future!
