When a rebellious teenage girl--Miley--is forced to head for a Southern beach town for the summer, she's just as forced to stay with her now-divorced father. But father and daughter share a common love of music, and as he works on an original piece for a local church, the two of them also work to rebuild the relationship both had thought lost.
