Based in the Cleveland, Ohio area, the Cleveland Photographic Society was founded in 1887 and continues to grow and change with the times and technology. Its 250+ members comprise photographers of all skill levels and interests ranging from traditional subjects to advanced digital techniques. The Society offers its members weekly meetings, numerous opportunities for photographic competition, frequent field trips and a variety of specialty meetings to address the needs and interests of its members. Also offered is a School of Photography that has existed in one form or another for over 90 continuous years. Courses are offered in the Fundamentals of Good Photography and in Digital Imaging - and additions to these course offerings are coming soon.
