In conjunction with Chiasmus Press, Chiasmus Media was founded as a cross over (or chiasma) between contemporary literature and its visual representation. Ultimately, Chiasma is an independent film company intent on realizing the false membrane between fiction, the page, technology, image production, and the moving image.

Chiasma offers a true alternative to audiences and filmmakers suffering under the placid tyranny of the geek-art film aesthetic and the obvious bombardment from the entertainment industrial complex. Our mission is to present a wayward selection of narrative and experimental films that trouble the current film establishment.

Besides film production, we are looking to distribute and produce dvds and fiction/film hybrids.
