The main goal of this video is to showcase the 2k3 TMNT cartoon. For those of you looking for a video with depth and story, this is not for you. The video is basically random clips with lots and lots of effects, all synched to the lyrics and music of the song. The video is flashy and very fast paced, so if you don't like that kinda stuff, do not watch. This is my first video to create fully in Adobe After Effects, aside from the splicing which was done in Ulead, so I kinda wanted to try the software out. I don't think i'm letting it go anytime soon ;)
Hmm, what else? There is lyrical synch at parts and pure action synch at others. Also, there are slight elements of Japanese MADs here and there, which is something I like to add in my editting.
Another important note is that this video is largely inspired by Majin Kenshin's Naruto AMV 'Toushi'. There are even parts that are very similar to parts from that video, and I credit Majin Kenshin fully for the inspiration of those parts.
That being said, I hope you enjoy this video. It took quite some time and many sleepless nights to complete it, so your feedback as to what was done well and what was rather weak is highly appreciated. ^_^

This video is a TMNT version of the 1st Death Note opening "The World". The video is an opening for season 4 of the 2003 cartoon. I wanted to have a darker theme to match the seriousness of the original.
Leonardo is the main character in this video since season 4 is largely centered around him and his search for answers. There is lots of Leo angst here so beware! ;)
Oh, and there are many references to events and episodes from season 4 throughout the video, try to catch'em all, lol!
You can check the comparison video that I will post for an on-spot comparison between the original opening and the TMNT version :)

This video is a remake of the second Naruto opening "Haruka Kanata" using TMNT 2003 footage. The idea is exactly the same as the Turtle Bleach video, but this time using good ol' Naruto ;)

This video is an attempt to recreate the first Bleach Anime opening using TMNT footage. The Bleach opening animation was always one of my favorites, so I thought I'd give it a try and combine it with my current favorite animation, TMNT.
I tried to match the style and animation of the original opening as much as I could and at the same time adapt the style of ninja turtles. I ended up creating the entire thing from scratch save for a scene or two. While I had so much fun making this, I don't think I want to edit a single frame ever again.
Anyways, in case you are not familiar with Bleach, you can check opening 1 for the anime.

On your "Hey Mickey" video, did you know that the song actually was written for Micky Dolenz? Toni Basil, the performer of the song, had a huge crush on Micky while working on the movie "Head", and so, although she didn't originally write the song (the song's name was originally " Kitty"), she changed up the lyrics for her crush's name. I don't know why she spelled Mickey with an E though, unlike the way Micky Dolenz spells it.
Oh well, just wanted to tell you because I love your videos!
