Movies and Shows: I've given TV the cold shoulder for some time. I catch various Adult Swim shows when I can, and whatever anime/comedy/action/music I can glean out of the 1000 channels of DirecTV drivel. My favorite show was 12 Oz. Mouse, and I'll defend it to the death, but they canceled it :\
Music: I'll actually listen to pretty much anything--not much country after the 70's, and very little rap after 1999, eh. :Þ I like dance/electronica/trance/etc. too, but don't know many of the artists * Among my absolute favorites are: Fugees - first group that actually made me pay attention to hip hop. * Iron Maiden - the reason I listen to heavy metal now * Gorillaz - helped me branch out into so many different styles o_O * Racer X is my choice for speed metal--I also dig the virtuoso rock and metal guitarists like Yngwie Malmsteen, Joe Satriani, Marty Friedman, Joe Stump--the list goes on and on! * I've developed quite an affinity for 8-bit/chip music and its artists. I think they're still very relevant today and always have something fresh to add to the current music scene
Books: Don't read much besides what's on Internets, although I just started the first two Black Dagger Brotherhood books: Dark Lover and Lover Eternal (J.R. Ward)
