In December of 2000, a little project went underway that would take four years of weekends to make by just three people, with availible extras and crew. With a budget of zero and the potential knowledge of can be done with very little they set work on their first film a feature titled 'The Veil'.In 2007 their next film a short titled 'Chainmail' a finalist for the Delta Award at the International Festival of Fantastic Films and official selection at the AOF Film Festival lead the way for 'The Veil' to be released onto DVD in January of 2008. It received critical praise for it's use of realism, underlining subplots, flashback technique and survivalistic elements in the realm of modern horror.
In 2008, their latest film a short 'The Day I Tried to Live' a sci-fi fantasy picked up the 'Best Guerilla Film - The Xristos Award' at the AOF Film Festival held in L.A in July and was shown at the Portobello film festival in September.

Cool Halloween video...sounds like you guys had a lot of fun. I really need to check out Universal Horror Nights. I was bummed when I missed out on the Slasher theme they had a couple of years ago.

Oh yes I read some of Jay Anson's book was I was a kid, it didn't help my piece of mind, the cover too with those eyes/windows on the house, ahhhh! Never read Legion, let me know what you thought. Yeah I really must get back to reading, even fluff. I started reading V: The Second Generation last year, and stopped when I was like 3/4 of the way in. I gotta see how the saga ends! Oh good, enjoy those flicks if you can. Never saw Crawlspace but Klaus Kinski is often a gas to watch even in rubbish, especially in rubbish, hee hee. I described the weekend for me on Carmie's page, so I'll just quiet but ok. Thanks, take care! :)

Hey, no problem. Ha-ha, I'm having the same problem with my DVR. Too many good shows/movies to record. Any big plans for Halloween?

Oh just wanted to post a note here. Wednesday on TCM at 5pm your time, is TARGETS, that cool Boris Karloff film I mentioned awhile ago. 96 minutes long, etc. I'm sure you guys will dig it, don't know if Carmie has seen it. By all means tape/tivo if you can't watch it, if you can. Its also on DVD from Paramount. Cool poster for your bg! I know the Beta channel switch is a shock, you'll get used to it. Enjoy the week, later!

Ok then. Yeah B day went fine. Even met Kermit the Frog at the Expo, well a guy with a Kermit puppet wandering around, did a good impression of the voice too. Thanks again for the lovely card, nothing like a zombie to celebrate the day you were born, ha! Later! :)
