My goal is to archive all of Mike Gravel's appearances in the Democratic presidential debates before he was censored by corporate media. Also I will include the "alternative debates" that he conducted independently afterwards. Hopefully this should be a useful resource for video makers. Although Gravel was given very little time to speak, he raised many important issues that few people had the courage to address in such a visible medium. I believe time will continue to vindicate his actions and reveal these pageants for the sham that they were.

Essentially, corporate media cut out the only candidate willing to debate the other candidates. From the start, talking heads called him a "crazy old uncle" in ridicule of his passion and eventually he was cut out of the debates when he became too much of a threat to the status quo. This became apparent from the news attention focusing on Hillary Clinton's vote on the Kyl-Lieberman Iran Resolution declaring the Iranian Revolutionary Guard a terrorist organization after Gravel had raised this issue in his last debate appearance before he was cut out of the debates on the basis of a fabricated million dollar fundraising requirement.
