Hi Cathy. You don't know me but i wanted to tell you that I appreciated your posting of the Platters 16 Tons. My personal oppinion is that the Original Platters with Herb Reed, who have always been one of my favorites, did the best version of this song ever. You probably have heard that version. Some people think Tennesse Ernie Ford's version was better but i disagree. I would love to know who did it first. Thx again!
