Strong legs & Abs
This thorough and complete leg & ab workout leaves no lower body muscle untouched. The workout begins with a warm-up and follows with a tough standing leg workout. It then continues with classic floor work that is enhanced through the use of resistance. The workout concludes with a challenging abdominal routine and stretch
Some of the new and featured moves are: alternating Plie squats, sit and stand squats, step ups and creative calf and hamstring exercises.

Chest ,Shoulders & Triceps
Chest/Shoulders & Triceps begins with a brief warm-up followed by unique & classic chest, shoulder and triceps exercises.
The chest routine focuses on inclines, declines and negatives to to enhance and recruit new muscle fibers. The shoulder routine puts a twist on some classic moves (ie; Arnold Press instead of standard overhead presses.) and also incorporates some compound exercises ( seated clean & press) to enhance special shaping techniques.
The triceps routine brings back some favorites (dips with barbell) plus introduces some new exercises (cross body kickback) to activate all three heads of the triceps muscle.
The music (Provided by MusicFlex) features great 70's rock classic remixes plus upbeat instrumentals.
Backs, Biceps & Abs
This workout begins with a warm-up followed by a thorough back, biceps and abdominal routine and ends with a relaxing stretch.
The emphasis of this video series is on strength and is similar in style to Maximum Intensity Strength. The back routine consists of exercises including: T-Bar Row, Bent Over Row, One Arm Row, and shrugs. These exercises target all areas of the back and assist in the development and maintenance of good posture.
The bicep routine includes the following exercises: Barbell Curls, Seated Dumbbell curls, negative curls and concentration curls. Various hand grips will not only target the biceps but also the forearm muscles as well.
The abdominal and spinal erector workout will provide a strong support system for your everyday functions. This will not only enhance your posture but will help prevent unnecessary back pain.

Step Jam

Rhythmic Step
This refreshingly advanced, all-step workout, is loaded with interesting and unique choreography that will keep you motivated from start to finish.
You'll begin the workout with a very thorough warm up. It contains a mini combination, plus a series of dynamic movements to elevate the heart rate and prepare the muscles for the vigorous workout ahead. The warm up concludes with active stretching.
Next you will start with your first combination, which is a refreshing blend of power and rhythmic dance movement patterns. This section definitely defines the flavor of the entire workout.
Then you will move on to the second combination, which is a bit longer than the first. This combination features a fun up and back pattern, as well as the tap hop repeater which we are sure you'll enjoy.

Interval Max
No tricky choreography in this video. Just all-out-intense intervals.
IntervalMax is a 60 minute tape based on the interval training concept. This workout will improve your cardiovascular fitness level and boost your metabolism, therefore allowing you to burn more total calories.
The workout consists of a 13 min. warm - up followed by a mini step routine. It then continues with 10 intervals each lasting 3 to 4 min. Each interval has an aerobic, an anaerobic phase and a recovery phase. These intervals are not only extremely challenging but easy to learn and fun to do. Maximum Intensity Cardio
Maximum Intensity Cardio is a 70 minute advanced aerobic/step workout with the emphasis on aerobics and endurance.
The first half of this video will challenge your cardiovascular system with a super charged high/low impact routine. The intensity of the hi/low starts out with moderate moves that rapidly get more intense. This section finishes with very challenging intervals that will test the endurance of even the advanced exerciser. The step portion of the workout continues to have cardiovascular demanding moves, but shifts your energy into a non-stop aggressive step workout.
This step section will consist of three combinations that gradually become more intense by layering on power and variation. Your Mind and body will love this cross-training combination. Mentally you are able to keep pushing because you shift your focus to a new movement style to free you from repetition.
As always, Cathe saves the best for last, as she concludes with an all out step interval blast that will leave no doubt on why this video is called ìMaximum Intensityî. This workout should be alternated with Maximum Intensity Strength for a complete and balanced workout.

Power Hour
This total body muscular endurance workout is sure to leave no muscle untouched or under worked. To get the maximum benefits out of this workout, you'll need an adjustable barbell and various weighted dumbbells. We're sure that you will love the new and unique soundtrack that was specifically created for this energizing workout too. The workout is tightly choreographed to 10 songs. You'll begin with a warm up song, and then each song following that will target a major muscle group at a time and work it to exhaustion. To do this, each muscle group will engage in high repetitions and a series of various weighted movement patterns for the duration of a song. To get superior results, you will need to find the most challenging weight possible that allows you to complete each song yet still maintain good form and alignment. You'll complete the workout with a relaxing stretch. This workout promotes good posture, improved muscle tone, strengthens your core region (the body's center of power), and promotes functional fitness. It is an all around winner workout!
Power Hour Format: warm - up 5 1/2 min, strength training exercises 40 min., Abs 6 min., Stretch 3 min.)
Maximum Intensity Strength
Maximum Intensity Strength is a 75 minute advanced muscular conditioning video.
This workout requires the use of a barbell (15 lbs. to 40 lbs.), dumbbells (5 lbs. to 20 lbs.) and a 8 to 10 inch Step. Cathe has structured the workout to target all the major muscle groups beginning with the larger muscle groups first. Each muscle group is worked to exhaustion before moving on to the next.

This super challenging workout concludes with an intense 10 minute abdominal routine. This workout should be alternated with Maximum Intensity Cardio (or any of Catheís step aerobic videos) for a complete and balanced workout.
Maximum Intensity Strength Format: Warm-up with step.....6.5 min., Buttocks/Legs.....18.5 min, Chest.....8 min., Back.....7.5 min., Shoulders.....7 min., Biceps.....6 min., Triceps.....7.5min., Abdominals.....10 min., Stretch.....3 min.)
BodyMax (19.95 + s/h, 91 minutes) is a completely different type of workout with the emphasis on aerobics and endurance.
A step, barbell and various dumbbells are used in this workout.
This cross-training workout begins with 24 minutes of simple but intense step aerobics.
The circuit section in the middle of the workout , is approx. 20 min in length and will provide you with a "shock your metabolism" effect since it consists of 5 cycles - each one moving quickly from high intensity step - to plyo step - to a very brief recovery and immediately into leg work with weights.)
The third section is approx. 20 min. in length and provides an all-out-non stop- upper body-weight workout that is similar in style to "Maximum Intensity Strength", however, the focus is on endurance and the rest periods are shorter. And finally, if you have survived this far, Cathe will take you through a 7 min. killer ab routine.
The workout concludes with a relaxing stretch and features beautiful new age music which seems to encourage the release of any and all tension in the body/mind.
Body Max is a cross training workout within itself. We suggest you use this on a day that you want to target and condition every major muscle in your body but also want to get an intense cardio workout.
Body Max Format: Warm-up 8 min., step aerobics 24 mins., power circuit intervals 19 min., cool down 2 mins., upper-body muscle conditioning 34 minutes., stretch 4 mins.
