When he's not at the office, Dr. Carlson loves to be outside participating in sports. He is an avid skier and cyclist and loves aviation. For pleasure, he flies a small plane around the area. While he likes all sports, Michigan college football is his favorite. Dr. Carlson lives in Duluth with his wife, Amy, and two children, Lauren and Erik.
