Whether Yahweh/Jehovah/Jesus exists is not the issue. The bigger problem is that this god's stated goals are at odds with those of humanity.
Despite being trumpeted as a bastion of wisdom and morality, the God of the Bible demonstrates himself to be both inept and sadistic - hardly worthy characteristics of a supposed all loving and all powerful god.
His plans to destroy the world, killing most of its inhabitants, are sickening.
His quest to leech power like a parasite by demanding the minds of humans through worship demonstrates his true lowly status.
His unverifiable promises of eternal bliss are suspect.
