Pagan Christianity 6 Videos
Here you will find videos showing the origins of what we think is "Christian." Most would be surprised to know that much of what we see in church has its origins in paganism.

"The Pharisees put the Spirit in a little box, is that we are doing?"
Yes and no. We both could argue that each other puts God into a little box. Our understanding of 'the box' is subjected to our own perceptions, especially if we don't read the bible very much. If we do read the bible and observe what was being done during Jesus' ministry, in Acts and in the epistles, we see a description of how God works. Throwing a knee into a man's stomach and later claiming that God said to knee him in the stomach differs vastly from the character, workmanship and motives of the God depicted in the New Testament. |

"Bentley whether you and I agree with what he is doing or not, has been put in place by God to be the Lead of the out pouring. Therefore it is our job to respect that (Romans 13:1). David was a great example of this with King Saul. He would not touch God's anointed."
There is no outpouring, so there is no "lead." Besides, it is widely, widely accepted that Romans 13 is referring to earthly governments/rulers, not to some guy from Toronto who shows up at a church in Lakeland, Fla. By the way, all Christians are anointed (1 John 2:20,27) and equally so (Gal 3:28). |

"I am not judging on this question so please don't take it that way. Have you ever been baptized in the Spirit and spoken in tongues?"
Yes, but as I got older, I realized I was only brainwashed into thinking I could. After doing some theological and doctrinal study, I've come to the conclusion that there is no second baptism, and I am hesitant to formulate much of an opinion on tongues other than to say that, biblically, tongues were actual, foreign languages, not like the repetitive gibberish we hear today. |

Hey, maybe I should make a video. This is a lot of stuff. lol
"explain John 14:12." Robertson's Word Pictures and Vincent's Word Studies (Greek word studies) argue that 'greater' mentioned here is not qualitative, but quantitative. VWS says that 'greater' refers "to the wider work of the apostolic ministry under the dispensation of the Spirit. This work was of a higher nature than mere bodily cures." Preaching salvation and the growth of the church was (and is) far greater than physical healing. I use these two sources because they were easily accessible for me. There are many more and better studies to argue this same point. |

Shoot sorry I realize in the post before this one, it sounds like I am saying you compared Jesus, John, Paul and Peter to Phariees, which you did not do.
You compared Men and Women in Ministry today. Again not all of them just some. |
||
|
After my first post you stated I would not have like Jesus, John, Paul and Peter. You then went on to compare these Men and women of God to Phariees. When in truth they are doing Ministry in a different way then WE believe it is suppose to be done. We are judging them, and some critics are even saying they are working for the Devil. Which is what people accused Jesus of doing (Matt. 12:22-28).
Also, was it not the Pharisees who were judging Jesus, John, Paul and Peter because the Spirit was moving through them in a way that the Phariees saw as wrong? The Phariees put the Spirit in a little box, is that we are doing? |

Jesus stated "He who is without sin cast the first stone." Yet you judge Man of God, doing His work.
You will now argue that Bently is not a Man of God, yet the Pharisees believed Jesus was working for Satan also. Bently whether you and I agree with what he is doing or not, has been put in place by God to be the Lead of the out pouring. Therefore it is our job to respect that (Romans 13:1). David was a great example of this with King Saul. He would not touch God's anointed. |
