The bike only turns over once or 3-5 times now that I've "fixed" the tensioner. Then it just spins or something. It sounds like when the starter or starter solenoid is going out in a car and the gear isn't popping out, it's just spinning against the teeth of the flywheel,. but not engaging. But the motorcycle starter gear does not pop out, it is always out. It has some type of ring gear that connects to the generator, it's possible the starter gear is not engaging with that ring gear...
