It seems from the way that the winners have been chosen...
if there is no concert in your state then you didn't have the opportunity to win tickets to another state.

Even being from the great Bon Jovi state of New Jersey didn't give us a chance to win tickets even though there was a concert right next door in Philly. There was no winner from NJ but there were 2 Philly winners.

I do enjoy the fact that my clips(9+ of them-don't know for sure, I haven't seen the entire vid) are played every night all over the world but honestly I would have loved to have the opportunity to have won side stage tickets. I haven't see this show live only on youtube.

Here's hoping the contest continues to New York and the New Jersey entrants finally get the opportunity to win tickets. :)

we are talking about BIG distances here and just want to know if there is a point in hoping :^)

I'm not talking about 45 mi away. I'm talking about living in an entirely different state--like Montana or Maine--where there wasn't even a concert. The submission form doesn't ask for which concert city you're enterring for.

Just have to wait and see if the contest continues when the boys get back to the US.

Yes, if the judges really like your video, it has a chance. I know some people have felt otherwise, but they are looking for good videos they can use on the concert screens. everyone has a shot. It's up to you to bring it.

Yes, they can win. I won in my area and I live 45 min from the place where the show took place.

I think if u let 'em know what concert u're interested in going to, they'll listen to it.

Do people out of the locale have a chance even at winning the runner-up prizes?

Anyone can "particpate" and send it a 10-minute video of alll special effects of photos with no videos. You know that people are actually asking if they will even be considered if there is not a concert in their immediate location.

The judges prefer videos under a minute in length. Some people have gone over a minute, but they prefer people try to keep it under 60 seconds.

I did a video for Groningen, the Netherlands, and that's not a town they'll be visiting....but I thought: what the hell....maybe I can convince them to come next time they're in Holland! And I had a blast making the video! So why not give it a try? Good luck
