Hey Luc, sorry for my late reply! Yeah I am really sad about losing Martin Laursen, but in a way I am pleased, cos we now know that he won't be playing and then MON can buy a decent player (I hope!) I think it is best for him to retire now cos he said that he would have been out for another 12 months anyway if he had had the operation - he is at the age now that he would retire anyway! Does that all make sense? I am sad, but hopefully MON will get someone in as good as Martin! The game was a tad disappointing seen as I travelled all that way, but I was pleased that I went and Carews goal was amazing!  Ash looked very injured - hope it isn't too serious! Anyways, I better go! Bye xx

Yeah it is really upsetting hearing about Laursen retiring - I know that this has been on the cards for a long time, but I did always hope that he would be able to play - he is a villa legend, as you know, and I will really miss him - I think if he had played all season we would have got a CL place easy!
