I absolutely LOVE writing stories and rhymes!
My first attempt was a poem to my wonderful paternal Grandmother, at age nine. She adored it!

So, I wrote another poem to my wonderful maternal Grandmother, and guess what? I learned she was also a poet, having written numerous verses I will always treasure.

My beautiful Mom kept at me to continue writing by wanting to read every poem I wrote. She fell in love with a verse I wrote at age 30, and had it framed for me.

They all encouraged me to continue writing, and I have them to thank for all I've been able to accomplish.

Jan Davis and I worked together on all 16 selections of the Bird Mommy DVD, using some of Jan's greatest instrumental hits behind all selections. Jan produced the entire DVD!
Jan Davis is my mentor and real-life angel!

I'm now a registered songwriter with BMI, Broadcast Music, Inc., along with Jan, and have co-written songs with Jan Davis on a number of highly-regarded vocal recordings.

Our strongest, current lyric is found with a song we wrote entitled: "Hammer Slammin." It took more time to write than any other song we've written, due to it's theme: How parents and all loved ones respond to war and terrorism.
