Though may age may be young my mind is old. Unlike many teens I am deeply involved in politics and other world affairs. In recent years, I have shaped my beliefs around the Democratic Party. I consider myself a Populist leaning liberal. I am strong supporter of Gun Control, Abortion Rights, Stem Cell Research, Alternative Energy, Freedom of Speech, Separation of Church and State, as well as Gay Marriage and Pay as You Go Legislating. Unfortunately, over the past seven years our President, George W. Bush, has dug this country into a very deep hole. The Iraq War has us pinned to the ground. The country as a hole cannot prosper with 100 billion dollars a year being directed at this preemptive war. Our government ought to institute a political solution in Iraq and fast!
