I recorded the vocals for this video last. Little did I realize that it's not an easy song for me to sing. I'm not terribly happy how the vocals ended up; but I already had the instruments recorded, and I am quite happy with how those turned out. So despite the less-than-stellar vocals, I decided to post the video.

"The Trouble with Drum Feet" is a short film that follows a man as he struggles with an illness that has made him an outcast his entire life.

It was shot on a 16mm non-sync sound camera, i.e. no sound was recording while filming. All sound was added in the editing phase.

I know YouTube is littered with Dr Horrible covers, but I've yet to see any done on mandolin. So I took some initiative.

My original plan was to do this video with guitar, bass, and multiple mandolins. In the end, I decided it sounds better with just one guitar and one mandolin. Sometimes simple is the way to go I guess.

Clearly I am no Colin Meloy. The original version is much, much better.

I need to learn violin one of these days.

"Population Control" is a short, silent film that follows a guy who sets out to do something we all wish we could do: permanently destroy those pesky Internet pop-up ads.

I wrote, shot, edited, and directed this film. It was shot on 16mm film, which I then cut by hand. The only digital editing I did was the credits.

This is my version of Yesterday by Mustard Plug. It's pretty much the same as their version only minus the drums, on an acoustic guitar, and with a mandolin instead of a horn section.
