im an artist too. i love all mediums, i do film, 3d animation, flash, and the regular fine arts. a find it that starting artists stray towards really dark styles and ideas at first, as if "creepy" is the first thing they can learn to manipulate. im not sure what im trying to tell you besides that i think the most difficult and powerful purpose a film maker can use in his video is visualizing new perspectives for the viewer. make the viewer see the world through different eyes. my only request is pleeeease do not make the viewer see the world through darkness. its just too damn easy and gloomy.
