No, the current Beach Theatre does not have stadium style seating.

does this theater actually have "real stadium seating"?

We've been going to Cape May for the last 27 summers. We used to go to the Beach Theatre all the time. Each year got worse--bad projection (it looked like someone had smeared vaseline on the projector's lens); seats that were held together seemingly with chewing gum; awful sound; constant breakdowns. We finally said "that's it" and, although under different circumstances, would have preferred seeing movies at the Beach, starting going to the Bayshore 8 Cinema instead where we could actually SEE the movie!

We're glad, for historical reasons, that the Beach Theatre was saved...but also feel that the theatre's management only had itself to blame when people stopped coming. Years of complaints about things that could have been fixed went unheeded.

The theater looks great!!! I look foward to seeing many movies these winter weekends.
