On September 17th 2009, at the BASF Crop Protection Press Information Day, journalists had the chance to see BASF's tool to assess eco-efficiency in crop protection business. Markus Heldt, President of BASF Crop Protection, presented the results of the new packaging concept in comparison to the current system. The eco-efficiency analysis gives BASF and all the stakeholders in the food value chain a reliable framework to evaluate sustainable farming practices. And from there, only get better. (less info)
